Tenegre Sword from Visayas

Great mid 19th century Tenegre sword probably from Panay Islands. Visayas.

Rare to find this curved, heavy and sturdy chiseled edge blade.
Finely carved handle and round cross both made with water buffalo horn with a steel ferrule.
This example is 53,2 cm long with a the blade of 40,25 cm and a thickness at the beginning of the spine of 0´7 cm. 770 grs.
An opportunity to get a rare tenegre sword in a very good condition from the time of Spanish colonial period in the Philippines.
