Throwing knife from Central African Republic/D.R. Congo. Early 20th century.

This type of throwing knife is associated with the Banda tribes.

Some simple tribal drawings remain on the blades and maybe a scolopendra?

In some areas it retains some good edge.

Well balanced. The handle bound with original fibers.

As we can see in the pictures in good condition with evident signs of use.

Measures: 41,3 cm x 31,5cm, center shaft thickness 3mm.
