Philippine Bolo from Luzon

Nice pre-1.898 fighting bolo from Luzon coming from a Spanish family heirloom and kept along with a katana brought together from the Philippines during the Spanish colonial period.
The handle made of horn and with an iron ferrule is in very good condition the same as the blade and very important the bolo still retains the beautiful tooled scabbard that is preserved in its entirety along with the belt something rare to see. The laminated blade has a clipped point and with no doubt this bolo was made for "work", heavy and robust but very well balanced.
The bolo is 57 cm long inside the scabbard and 54 cm outside, the blade is 38,2 cm long and has a thickness at the beginning of the spine of 0´7 cm.
As usual in a bolo of this age and intended for fighting there are signs of use but instead of that both the bolo and the scabbard are in very very good condition and with great patina.
An opportunity to get a nice and complete bolo from the time of Spanish colonial period in the Philippines.
